Council Minutes of 6/17/97 <br />Resolution No. 97-58 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle. A <br />resolution calling on CEI to conclude bargaining with Utility Workers Local 270; to <br />preserve jobs in our community and to make a commitment to improved maintenance and <br />emergency response, and declaring an emergency. Mr. O'Grady moved for suspension of <br />the rule requiring three readings; second by Mr. McKay; motion passed unanimously. Mr. <br />O'Grady moved for adoption; second by Mr. McKay; motion passed unanimously. <br />Resolution No. 97-58 adopted. <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br />Mrs. Saringer assigned Ordinance No. 97-57 to the BZD Committee. <br />Mr. Musial reminded Council that the BZD Committee would meet at 6:30 p.m. on <br />Monday, June 23, to discuss the Sunnyside Toyota proposal and other items from the <br />Planning Commission. <br />Mr. McKay moved to excuse the absence of Council President Boehmer; second by Mr. <br />Musial; motion passed unanimously. <br />With the agenda being completed and there being no further business to come before the <br />Council, President Pro Tem Saringer adjourned the meeting at 8:47 p.m. <br />P r+f.. <br />j <br />,. ~ <br />~ f <br />arbara L.
