Council Minutes of 5/20/97 <br />Ordinance No. 97-47 introduced by Mayor Boyle was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance establishing a fee schedule for applications for tax abatements in the North <br />Omsted Enterprise Zone and Community Reinvestment Area, and declaring an emergency, <br />as amended. <br />Ordinance No. 97-48 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. McKay. An <br />ordinance adopting a new and revised Section 911.09 entitled "Sewer Connections; Tap- <br />In Permit, Fee and Penalty" of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted, <br />Ohio. <br />Ordinance No. 97-49 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle. An <br />ordinance amending Section 1 of Ordinance Number 96-150 entitled "An ordinance <br />establishing rates of compensation for various positions to staff North Olmsted Springvale <br />Golf Course and establish a schedule of benefits and compensation to be paid to members <br />of that staff, and declaring an emergency, as amended", and declaring an emergency. Mr. <br />Lind moved for suspension of the rule requiring three readings; second by Mr. O'Grady; <br />motion passed unanimously. Mr. Lind moved for adoption; second by Mr. O'Grady; <br />motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 97-49 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 97-50 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Nashar. An <br />ordinance amending the traffic control file of the City of North Olmsted by providing for <br />the "No Parking" signs on the fire hydrant side of Cambridge Drive, and declaring an <br />emergency. Mr. Nashar moved for suspension of the rule requiring three readings; second <br />by Mr. O'Grady; motion passed unanimously. Mr. Nashar moved for adoption; second by <br />Mr. O'Grady; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 97-50 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 97-51 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into an agreement <br />with MetroSite Management, LLC to provide telecommunications marketing and <br />consulting services with respect to wireless communications systems and installations and <br />declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 96-52 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle. An <br />ordinance providing for the submission to the electors of the City of North Olmsted of an <br />amendment to Article XI of the Charter of the City of North Olmsted to provide for <br />aggregate and collective bargaining for conjunctive electric service and other similar <br />aggregated utility plans, and declaring an emergency. <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br />Mr. Lind scheduled a Finance Committee meeting for 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 28, <br />and asked that Mayor Boyle, Finance Director Burns and Service Director Bohhnann <br />attend. <br /> <br />8 <br /> <br />
