Council Minutes of 4/15/97 <br />Ordinance No. 97-41 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. McKay on behalf <br />of Mayor Boyle. An ordinance authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to <br />enter into a lease agreement with AT&T Wireless Communications for land on which to <br />place a monopole antenna, surrounding complex, fencing, landscaping and related <br />equipment at a designated area of Clague Park. <br />Ordinance No. 97-42 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Lind. An <br />ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $200,000 notes, in anticipation of the <br />issuance of bonds, for the purpose of constructing, furnishing, equipping and otherwise <br />improving an addition to the city's Police Station and preparing and improving the site <br />thereof. Mr. Lind noted that the fiscal officer's certificate was attached. <br />Ordinance No. 97-43 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Lind. An <br />ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $200,000 notes, in anticipation of the <br />issuance of bonds, for the purpose of constructing and reconstructing storm sewers and <br />storm water drainage facilities. Mr. Lind noted that the fiscal officer's certificate was <br />attached. <br />NIISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br />Mr. Lind commented that residents who live around Clague Park had attended the <br />Planning Commission meeting last week and had expressed their desire that monies <br />received from AT&T be earmarked for improvements to the park. This issue will be <br />addressed during the discussions on Ordinance 97-41. <br />Mr. Lind scheduled a Finance Committee and a joint Finance/Recreation Committee <br />meeting for Monday, Apri121, at 7 p.m. and asked that the Finance Director and Service <br />Director attend. <br />Mr. Musial scheduled a BZD Committee meeting for 6:30 p.m. on April 28 to discuss <br />Ordinances Nos. 97-27, 97-40, 96-100 and 96-102. He requested that Planning <br />Commission chairperson Ron Talton be asked to attend. <br />Mr. Nashar scheduled a Public Safety, Health and Welfare Committee meeting for 8 p.m. <br />on Monday, Apri121, and asked that Safety Director Kasler attend. <br />Mr. Limpert scheduled a Transportation Committee meeting to immediately follow the <br />Public Safety meeting on Monday, Apri121, and asked that the Service Director attend. <br />With the agenda being completed and there being no further business to come before <br />Council, President Boehmer adjourned the meeting at 8:58 p.m. <br />~Barbara,L.
