Council Minutes of 10/20/98 <br />Ordinance No. 98-114 introduced by the Mayor and entire Council was given its second <br />reading. An ordinance amending Section 351.03 of the Traffic Code, entitled "Prohibited <br />Standing or Parking Places," and the Traffic Control File of the City of North Olmsted, in <br />order to establish acity-wide ban against parking on the hydrant side of streets, and <br />further to provide for posting signs of this, and other city-wide parking bans, at the <br />entrance ways to the city on streets which traverse the city limits, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 98-110 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. An <br />ordinance establishing the fees to be charged for the use of the North Olmsted Springvale <br />Golf Course and Ballroom, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 98-116 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. An <br />ordinance adopting a new and revised Section 1353.12 entitled "Maintaining Grade Lines <br />Established by City" of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio. <br />Ordinance No. 98-117 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Nashar. An <br />ordinance amending the traffic control file of the City of North Olmsted to provide for the <br />installation of a traffic signal system at the intersection of Cedar Point Road and Valley <br />Parkway and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 98-119 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. An <br />ordinance creating new Section 151.03, entitled "Compensation to Board of Zoning <br />Appeals Members," of the Administrative Code of the City of North Olmsted. <br />Resolution No. 98-120 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. A <br />resolution declaring it necessary to repair sidewalks at the following residential properties <br />located in the City of North Olmsted: 6112 Stafford Drive, 6181 Stafford Drive, 4477 <br />Michael Avenue, and 24440 South Oxford Oval, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 98-121 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for roof, HVAC <br />and insulation improvements at Fire Station Number Two as detailed in the plans and <br />specifications on file and authorizing the Mayor to contract for the same, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br />Mrs. Kasler scheduled a Recreation Committee meeting for Monday, October 26, at <br />5:30 p.m. to discuss Ordinance 98-110. The Safety Director and Mr. Strnad are asked to <br />attend. <br />Mr. O'Grady scheduled a Finance Committee meeting for Monday, October 26, <br />immediately following the Recreation Committee to consider Ordinance 98-119 and <br />'' Resolution 98-121.
