Council Minutes of 9/15/98 Resolution No. 98-96 introduced by Mr. Limpert was given its third reading. A resolution ~,~„~ creating a citizens committee for the purpose of gathering and presenting to Council projects for the city's 1999 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) application, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Limpert moved for adoption; second by Mr. Nashar; motion passed unanimously. Resolution No. 98-96 adopted. Resolution No. 98-101 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. A resolution adopting the budget of the City of North Olmsted for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 1999, and submitting the same to the County Auditor, and declaring an emergency. Ordinance No. 98-102 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. An ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the Ohio Patrolmen's Benevolent Association, which agreement is the collective bargaining agreement between the city and the North Olmsted Emergency Central Dispatchers, and declaring an emergency. Ordinance No. 98-103 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. O'Grady. An ordinance to make and transfer appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1998. Resolution No. 98-104 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. McKay on behalf of the Mayor and entire Council. A resolution supporting Governor Voinovich's campaign to oppose mandatory participation of state and local government employees in the Social Security system. MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS President Saringer assigned Resolution 98-101 and Ordinances 98-102 and 98-103 to the Finance Committee and Resolution 98-104 to the Intra-Governmental Relations Committee. Mr. O'Grady scheduled a Finance Committee meeting for 6 p.m. on September 24 to discuss Resolution 98-101, Ordinances 98-102 and 98-103 and capital improvement issues. The Mayor and the directors of Finance and Safety are invited to attend. Mr. Limpert scheduled a meeting of the Intra-Governmental Relations and Legislation; Long-Range Planning Committee for September 24 immediately following the special Council meeting. Mr. Gareau scheduled a BZD Committee meeting to discuss the location of identifier signs along I-480 to immediately follow the Intra-Governmental meeting.
