Council Minutes of 8/18/98
are subject to this code. And further, that it does not matter that an area is or is not
~: designated as a natural area, whatever that term might mean. So, that again, is existing
code. What the new ordinance is doing is taking existing code, clarifying a few portions,
making exceptions in the case of the Metroparks and Interstate 480 and then offering
people the opportunity to appeal in those instances where some complaint has generated
action on the part of the city. Mr. Calmer said he wanted to be on record as saying that he
is opposed to the proposed code, but is also requesting that Council reconsider its
approval of the existing code.
LEGISLATION
Resolution No. 98-72 introduced by Mr. Limpert on behalf of Mayor Musial was given its
second reading.
