Council Minutes of 11/16/1999 <br />Ordinance No. 99-145 introduced by Mr. O'Grady was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance amending for a second time Section 2 of Ordinance 98-32 entitled "An <br />Ordinance Establishing Rates of Compensation for Various Administrative and <br />Legislative Personnel, and Declaring an Emergency," so as to provide a year 2000 salary <br />rate for the new part-time Civil Assistant in the Law Department, and declaring an <br />emergency. Mr. O'Grady moved for adoption; second by Mr. Lind; motion passed <br />unanimously. Ordinance No. 99-145 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 99-148 introduced by Mr. McKay was given its second reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for drainage <br />improvements in the Barton Road and Chestnut School area as detailed in the plans and <br />specifications on file and authorizing the Mayor to contract for the same, and declaring <br />an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 99-149 introduced by Mr. McKay was given its second reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for and accept bids for <br />laboratory analytical services to support the Wastewater Treatment Plant, as detailed in <br />the specifications on file, and authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, and declaring <br />an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 99-150 introduced by Mr. O'Grady was given its second reading. A <br />resolution accepting the amounts and rates as determined by the Budget Commission and <br />authorizing the necessary tax levies and certifying them to the County Auditor. Mr. <br />O'Grady moved for suspension of the rule requiring three readings; second by Mr. <br />Limpert; motion passed unanimously. Resident Dennis Lambert suggested that the <br />legislation might need an emergency clause. After a lengthy discussion, it was decided to <br />pass the annual legislation as is and re-address it at another time if it is necessary. Mr. <br />O'Grady moved for adoption; second by Mr. Limpert; motion passed unanimously. <br />Resolution No. 99-150 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 99-151 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into a ten year <br />advertising and exclusivity agreement with Cleveland Coca-Cola Bottling Co., Inc. <br />Ordinance No. 99-152 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance designating a distribution of revenues derived from the agreement of the City <br />of North Olmsted and the Cleveland Coca-Cola Bottling Co., Inc. and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 99-153 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance amending Section 761.01 of Chapter 761 of the Business Regulation Code of <br />the City of North Olmsted, entitled "Adult Entertainment Businesses," in order to define <br />the word "Features" as used in said section of Chapter 761, and declaring an emergency. <br /> <br />13 <br />i <br />
