Council Minutes of 10/19/1999 <br />happened to be in the courtroom that day, met with the court on October 7. It was in the <br />aftermath of that meeting, that the parties were, under the court's auspices, were able to <br />hammer out the terms of this settlement agreement." <br />Mr. McKay asked Law Director Gareau if a developer could put up a building partly in <br />North Ridgeville and partly in North Olmsted. Law Director Gareau replied it has been <br />done where county lines run through the middle of a building. But he does not believe a <br />main building can be built on this property. He does not believe it would be practical for <br />anyone to propose to build there. <br />LEGISLATION <br />Resolution No. 99-129 introduced by Mr. O'Grady was given its third reading. A <br />resolution directing the Auditor of Cuyahoga County to pay to the City of North Olmsted, <br />Ohio, during the year 2000, all money due and owing said city from any collection <br />source. Mr. O'Grady moved for adoption; second by Mr. Limpert; motion passed <br />unanimously. Resolution No. 99-129 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 99-130 introduced by Mr. Miller was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance amending Section 927.06 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North <br />Olmsted, entitled "Stormwater Channel Erosion Control Standards," and declaring an <br />emergency. Mr. Miller moved for adoption; second by Mr. Gareau; motion passed <br />unanimously. Ordinance No. 99-130 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 99-132 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its third reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Safety to advertise for bids for an <br />emergency rescue vehicle, equipment and accessories to be used by the North Olmsted <br />Fire Department and authorizing the Mayor to contract for the same and declaring an <br />emergency. Mr. O'Grady moved for adoption; second by Mr. Nashar; motion passed <br />unanimously. Resolution No. 99-132 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 99-134 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its third reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for Springvale <br />parking lot improvements as detailed in the plans and specifications on file and <br />authorizing the Mayor to contract for the same and declaring an emergency. Mr. McKay <br />moved for adoption; second by Mr. O'Grady; motion passed unanimously. Resolution <br />No. 99-134 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 99-135 introduced by Mr. Limpert was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing and directing Don Copeland, Director of the Department of Human <br />Resources, to make application on behalf of the City of North Olmsted for Community <br />Development Block Grant funds for the fiscal year 2000 for multiple projects titled <br />Acquisition and Demolition of Commercial Retail Property and Sidewalk Curbcuts For <br />Disabled Persons and Older Persons, and declaring an emergency as amended. <br />11 <br />~. <br />
