Council Minutes of October 5, 1999 <br />,w, Ordinance No. 99-123 introduced by Mr. Nashar was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance amending the Traffic Control File of the City of North Olmsted by providing <br />for the installation of a "No Parking Fire Lane" sign with an arrow pointing west on the <br />property line extension between 26606 and 26622 Sweetbrier Drive; and a "No Parking <br />Fire Lane" sign with an arrow pointing east on the property line extension between 26605 <br />and 26629 Sweetbrier Drive, and declaring an emergency as amended. Mr. Nashar <br />moved for suspension of the rule requiring three readings; second by Mr. Limpert; <br />motion passed unanimously. Mr. Nashar moved for adoption; second by Mr. Limpert; <br />motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 99-123 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 99-129 introduced by Mr. O'Grady was given its second reading. A <br />resolution directing the Auditor of Cuyahoga County to pay to the City of North Olmsted, <br />Ohio, during the year 2000, all money due and owing said city from any collection <br />source. <br />Ordinance No. 99-130 introduced by Mr. Miller was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance amending Section 927.06 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North <br />Olmsted, entitled "Stormwater Channel Erosion Control Standards," and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Resolution No. 99-132 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Safety to advertise for bids for an <br />emergency rescue vehicle, equipment and accessories to be used by the North Olmsted <br />Fire Department and authorizing the Mayor to contract for the same and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Resolution No.99-134 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for Springvale <br />parking lot improvements as detailed in the plans and specifications on file and <br />authorizing the Mayor to contract for the same and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 99-13 5 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Limpert. An <br />ordinance authorizing and directing Don Copeland, Director of the Department of Human <br />Resources, to make application on behalf of the City of North Olmsted for Community <br />Development Block Grant funds for the fiscal year 2000 for multiple projects titled <br />Comprehensive Master Plan/Vision 2000 and Beyond, Acquisition And Demolition of <br />Commercial Retail Property, Sidewalk Curbcuts For Disabled Persons and Older Persons, <br />and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 99-136 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Limpert. An <br />ordinance authorizing a specification requirement for Minority Business Enterprise <br />(M.B.E.) and Women Business Enterprise (W.B.E.) participation in fiscal year 2000 <br />Community Development Block Grants projects of 15% for M.B.E. and 5% for W.B.E., <br />and declaring an emergency. <br />6 <br />
