Council Minutes of October 5, 1999 <br />Resolution No. 99-137 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. A <br />+~, resolution authorizing the Mayor to submit and seek financial assistance from the United <br />States Environmental Protection Agency under the Sustainable Development Challenge <br />Grant Program for funding of the Springvale storm drainage retention/wetlands project <br />study, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 99-138 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for purchase of <br />one continuous standby generator set as detailed in the specifications on file and <br />authorizing the Mayor to contract for the same, and declaring an emergency. Mr. <br />O'Grady moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings and committee <br />review, noting that the resolution was reviewed by Council during caucus. The motion <br />was seconded by Mr. Nashar; motion passed unanimously. Mr. O'Grady moved for <br />adoption; second by Mr. Nashar; motion passed unanimously. Resolution No. 99-138 <br />adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 99-139 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. An <br />ordinance creating new Chapter 1140 of the Planning and Zoning Code of the City of <br />North Olmsted, entitled "Public Facilities Overlay District." <br />Ordinance No. 99-140 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. An <br />ordinance providing for the amendment of the Zone Map of the City of North Olmsted in <br />order to supplementally zone the hereinafter described five parcels of real property <br />located east of relocated S. R. 252 and south of I-480, so as to include them within the <br />Public Facilities Overlay District ("PFO") of the City of North Olmsted. <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br />Mr. Saringer made the following committee assignments: Ordinance 99-135 and 99-136 <br />to the Legislative Committee; Resolution 99-137 to Streets & Drainage Committee. <br />Ordinances 99-139 and 99-140 will be referred to Planning Commission and then to the <br />BZD Committee. <br />Mr. Limpert scheduled an Intra-Governmental Relations and Legislation; Long-Range <br />Planning Committee meeting for October 13 at 7:30 p.m. to discuss Ordinances 99-135 <br />and 99-136. At 8 o'clock, the committee will discuss Ordinance 99-54 with invited <br />guests. <br />Mr. Gareau scheduled a Building, Zoning and Development Committee meeting for <br />Tuesday, October 12, at 6:30 p.m. to discuss Planning Commission referrals. A <br />representative from the Building Department and Engineering Department are asked to <br />attend. <br /> <br />7 <br />
