Council Minutes of 9/21/99 <br />Ordinance No. 99-133 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into an agreement <br />with Hammontree & Associates, Limited to provide engineering services for the design <br />of Springvale parking lot improvements and declaring an emergency. Mr. O'Grady <br />moved for suspension of the rule requiring three readings; second by Mr. Limpert; <br />motion passed unanimously. Mr. O'Grady moved for adoption; second by Mr. Limpert; <br />motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 99-133 adopted. <br />Resolution No.99-134 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for Springvale <br />parking lot improvements as detailed in the plans and specifications on file and <br />authorizing the Mayor to contract for the same and declaring an emergency. <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br />President Saringer made the following committee assignments: Resolution 99-129 to <br />Finance Committee; Ordinance 99-130 to Streets & Drainage; Resolution 99-132 to <br />Public Safety; Ordinance 99-134 jointly to Recreation and Finance. <br />Mr. O'Grady scheduled a Finance Committee meeting for Wednesday, September 29, at <br />6 p.m. to address Resolution 99-129. Following that meeting, a joint meeting with Public <br />Safety will be held to address Resolution 99-132. The directors of Finance and Public <br />Safety are asked to attend. <br />Mr. McKay scheduled a Streets & Drainage Committee meeting for Wednesday, <br />September 29, following the Finance and Public Safety Committee. Mr. Bohlmann is <br />asked to attend. <br />Mrs. Kasler noted that the Recreation and Finance Committees had discussed Ordinance <br />99-134 this evening and she did not believe another meeting would be necessary. <br />With the agenda being completed and there being no further business to come before <br />Council, President Saringer adjourned the meeting at 9: 48 p.m. <br />i ~ }` . <br />~~.~~ <br />Barbara L.
