Council Minutes of 9/7/99 Ordinance No. 99-125 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. An ordinance amending Section 13 of Ordinance 98-32 entitled "An ordinance establishing ,.~,,. rates of compensation for various administrative and legislative personnel, and declaring an emergency," in order to make the position of Activities Coordinator at the Senior Center afull-time salaried position, and declaring an emergency. Mr. O'Grady moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings and committee review; second by Mr. Gareau; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 99-126 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Gareau on behalf of Mr. Miller and himself. An ordinance creating a new Chapter 177 of the City Administrative Code entitled, "Department of Planning," in order to establish a Department of Planning for the City of North Olmsted and to create the position of Director of Planning. Ordinance No. 99-127 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. McKay on behalf of Mr. Gareau and himself. An ordinance providing for the amendment of the Zone Map of the City of North Olmsted by changing the hereinafter described parcels of real property located on Kennedy Ridge Road, from Mixed Use District to Single Family Cluster District. Resolution No. 99-128 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. A resolution authorizing the Mayor to submit and seek financial assistance from the State Issue 2 Infrastructure Bond Program for funding of various municipal capital infrastructure improvements projects, and declaring an emergency. MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS Mr. O'Grady scheduled a Finance Committee meeting immediately following the public hearing which will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, September 8. (The public hearing is in regard to Ordinance 99-122.) The committee will discuss Ordinances 99-114 through 99-122. The Finance Director and the Mayor are requested to attend. Mrs. Kasler scheduled a Recreation Committee meeting for September 14, 1999 at 6 p.m. to discuss Ordinances 99-124 and 99-85. The Safety Director, Mayor and Mr. Young are requested to attend. Mr. Limpert scheduled an Intra-Governmental Relations and Legislation; Long-Range Planning Committee meeting for September 15 at 7 p.m. to discuss Ordinance 99-126. This will be a joint meeting with BZD. Also discussed will be Resolution 99-128. The Service Director or his representative is asked to attend for discussion of Resolution 99-128. 14 ~,~
