Council Minutes of 9/7/99 <br />Mr. Nashar scheduled a Public Safety Committee meeting immediately following the <br />:-. <br />Intra-Governmental Relations and Legislation; Long-Range Planning Committee meeting <br />on September 15 to discuss Ordinance 99-123. The Safety Director is asked to attend. <br />Mr. Miller asked that the committee also discuss openings or filling vacancies that <br />currently exist in the Police Department. He asked that the Mayor and Safety Director <br />attend. Mr. Nashar agreed to include this item on the agenda for the committee meeting. <br />Mr. Gareau scheduled a Building, Zoning and Development Committee meeting for <br />September 15 at 6 p.m. to discuss Ordinance 99-127, 99-126 and Planning Commission <br />projects. Representatives from the Building and Engineering Departments are asked to <br />attend. There will be a later joint meeting with Intra-Governmental Relations and <br />Legislation; Long-Range Planning Committee. The BZD Committee will jointly discuss <br />99-110 with the Finance Committee. <br />Mr. O'Grady reminded everyone that a special Council meeting would be held for <br />passage of Resolution 99-122 on Tuesday, September 14, at 6:30 p.m. <br />Mr. Nashar moved to excuse the absence of Mrs. Saringer. The motion was seconded by <br />Mr. Miller and unanimously approved. <br />With the agenda being completed and there being no further business to come before <br />Council, President Pro Tem O'Grady adjourned the meeting at 9:20 p.m. <br />,' <br />t s- <br />Barbara L.
