Council Minutes of 8/17/99 <br />Ordinance No. 99-101 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance allowing the Director of Public Service to sell surplus personal computer <br />equipment to city employees or city residents, and declaring an emergency as amended. <br />Ordinance No. 99-102 introduced by Mrs. Kasler was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance amending Section 1363.07 of Chapter 1363 of the Real Property Maintenance <br />Code, entitled "Duties and Responsibilities of Owners and Operators," so as to require <br />owners and operators of commercial premises to maintain and, when necessary, replace <br />trees, shrubs and other plantings which are part of a landscape plan approved by the city, <br />and declaring an emergency as amended. <br />Resolution No. 99-103 introduced by Mr. O'Grady on behalf of Mayor Musial, Mr. <br />Limpert and himself was given its second reading. A resolution calling upon the <br />Cuyahoga County Commissioners, the County Treasurer, and the County Linked Deposit <br />Program Coordinator to consider the inclusion of the City of North Olmsted in the <br />Cuyahoga County Linked Deposit Program and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 99-104 introduced by Mr. Gareau was given its second reading. A <br />resolution acknowledging the receipt of notice establishing a public hearing upon a <br />petition for annexation from Hennie Homes, Inc. of 23.4428 acres of real property <br />located in Olmsted Township, and adopting a statement of the services which the City of <br />North Olmsted will provide to the territory upon annexation, and declaring an emergency. <br />Mr. Gareau moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings; second by Mr. <br />Miller; motion passed unanimously. An <br />ordinance creating new Section 915.19 of Chapter 915 of the Codified Ordinances of the <br />City of North Olmsted, entitled "User Charge System," in order to provide for a method <br />of collecting delinquent sewer charges, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 99-105 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. An <br />ordinance establishing the compensation and benefits to be paid to all part-time hourly <br />employees employed by the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 99-106 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Miller. An <br />ordinance creating new Section 1139.12 of the North Olmsted Zoning Code regulating <br />the location of free-standing industrialized units on commercial property. <br />Ordinance No. 99-107 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mrs. Kasler.
