Council Minutes of 8/17/99 Ordinance No. 99-108 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Gareau. An ordinance creating new Section 929.04 of Chapter 929 of the Street, Utilities and Public Services Code, entitled "Underground Utility and Communications Systems" to require the construction of underground service drops or connections from the public right-of- way or a utility easement to commercial buildings in the City of North Olmsted, which are in the process of development or redevelopment, and declaring an emergency. Ordinance No. 99-109 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Miller. An ordinance creating new Section 1139.13 of the North Olmsted Zoning Code regulating the outdoor, unenclosed storage of motor vehicles at motor vehicle repair facilities. Ordinance No. 99-110 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Miller. An ordinance creating new Section 1119.06 of the North Olmsted Zoning Code requiring that developers report certain income tax information to the city prior to obtaining occupancy permits following commercial construction or new residential construction in the city. Ordinance No. 99-111 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Miller. An ordinance creating new Section 337.30 of the Traffic Code of the City of North Olmsted so as to prohibit the excessively loud playing of sound devices while operating motor vehicles, and declaring an emergency. Ordinance No. 99-112 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Miller. An ordinance amending Section 745.05 of the Hotel and Motel Tax Code, entitled "Records; Inspection; Destruction," in order to impose a duty upon the Director of Finance to conduct annual audits of excise tax returns filed by hotel and motel vendors in the City of North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS Mrs. Saringer made the following committee assignments: Ordinance 99-66, Streets & Drainage Committee; 99-105, Finance; 99-106, Building, Zoning and Development; 99-107, Safety and Finance joint committee; 99-108, 109, 110, Building Zoning and Development Committee; 99-111, Safety; 99-112, Safety and Finance joint committee. Mr. McKay scheduled a Streets & Drainage Committee meeting for Monday, August 30, at 6 p.m. and Mr. Bohlmann is asked to attend. Mr. Gareau scheduled a Building, Zoning and Development Committee meeting for Monday, August 30, immediately following the Streets & Drainage Committee meeting to discuss Ordinances 99-106, 109, 110 as well as one Planning Commission item, 13
