Council Minutes of June 15, 1999 <br />commended the Finance Director for the amount of research that she put into determining <br />fair and equitable salary ranges and expressed some dissatisfaction with the fact that <br />Council was not able to meet that. Roll call continued: Nashar, yes; Miller, yes; <br />Limpert, yes; Kasler, yes. The motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 99-45 <br />adopted. <br />Resolution No. 99-68 introduced by Mr. McKay was given its second reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for acquisition <br />of a dewatering centrifuge for pilot testing at the North Olmsted Wastewater Treatment <br />Plant in the City of North Olmsted as detailed in the specifications on file and authorizing <br />the Mayor to contract for the same, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 99-69 introduced by Mr. Limpert was given its second reading. A <br />resolution re-authorizing a citizens' committee created by Resolution No. 98-96 for the <br />purpose of gathering and presenting to Council projects for the city's Community <br />Development Block Grant (CDBG) applications, as amended, and declaring an <br />emergency. Mr. Limpert moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings; <br />second by Mr. Nashar; motion passed unanimously. An ordinance creating <br />new Section 135.021 of Chapter 135 of the Administrative Code of the City of North <br />Olmsted, entitled "Department of Finance," for the purpose of creating a new position of <br />Assistant Director of Finance, and declaring an emergency as amended. Mr. Gareau <br />moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings; second by Mr. O'Grady; <br />motion passed unanimously. Mr. Gareau moved for adoption; second by Mr. O'Grady; <br />motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 99-44 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 99-67 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. O'Grady on <br />behalf of Mr. McKay. An ordinance amending Section 901.07 of the Codified <br />Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted, entitled "Treelawn Openings; Permit and Fee" <br />in order to provide for alternate methods and materials for treelawn brickscapes, and <br />declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 99-71 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. O'Grady on <br />behalf of Mayor Musial.
