Mr. Nauer said he understood, but he just <br />wanted to make the point that what was being talked about in Columbus as "customer <br />choice" is now becoming city choice. Mr. Limpert moved for adoption; second by Mr. <br />Miller; motion passed unanimously. Resolution No. 99-76 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 99-77 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Gareau. An <br />ordinance creating new and revised Section 1126.02, 1161.12, and 1161.121 of the North <br />Olmsted Zoning Code relating to commercial lighting structures. <br />Resolution No. 99-78 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mrs. Kasler. A <br />resolution opposing House Bill No. 175 which would result in less job stability and <br />reduced benefits for working men and women. <br />Ordinance No. 99-79 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Gareau. An <br />ordinance creating Chapter 556 of the General Offenses Code of the City of North <br />Olmsted, entitled "Lighting Nuisance Control," and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 99-80 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Miller and Mrs. <br />Kasler. An ordinance amending Section 171.06 of Chapter 171 of the Administrative <br />Code, entitled "Community Reinvestment," in order to require that property owners who <br />receive tax exemption for commercial or industrial projects, and their contractors and <br />subcontractors, agree to enter into and be bound by project labor agreements with the <br />Cleveland Building and Construction Trades Council, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 99-81 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Limpert. An <br />ordinance expressing the conditional intent of the City of North Olmsted to issue <br />industrial revenue bonds of the city pursuant to Chapter 165, Ohio Revised Code, <br />authorizing a declaration of official intent under U. S. Treasury regulations with respect <br />to reimbursements from proceeds of those bonds, to assist Horizon Activities Center, Inc. <br />in financing certain commercial facilities, authorizing the execution of an agreement <br />relating to such bonds, and related matters. <br />Ordinance No. 99-82 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Gareau. An <br />ordinance creating new Section 1126.08 of the Zoning Code of the City of North <br />Olmsted, entitled "Deviations from Approved Plans Prohibited," in order to provide for <br />better remedies against commercial and other developers who, in constructing buildings <br />and other improvements to land, deviate from plans approved by the city. <br />Ordinance No. 99-83 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Gareau. An <br />ordinance providing for the amendment of the Zone Map of the City of North Olmsted by <br />changing the hereinafter described parcels of real property located on Dewey Road, north <br />of Lorain Road, from Single Family Residence District to General Retail Business <br />District. <br />~> <br />.~,, <br />13 <br />~~ <br />i <br />
