Mr. McKay moved to suspend the rule requiring three readings on amended <br />Ordinance 99-45. The motion was seconded by Mrs. Kasler. Roll call: McKay, yes; <br />Kasler, yes; Nashar, yes; Miller, yes; Limpert, no, with explanation that there had many <br />so many debates about the legislation and he would like some time to consider the <br />ramifications of this evening's actions. Roll call continued: Gareau, no, with comment <br />that he was originally the person who introduced this ordinance and the entire events of <br />this evening are completely foreign to him. The motion failed as it did not receive atwo- <br />thirds majority vote with four affirmative votes and two negative votes. The legislation <br />as amended remains on second reading for the next Council meeting. <br />Resolution No. 99-48 introduced by Mr. McKay was given its third reading. A resolution <br />requesting the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) to extend Great Northern <br />Boulevard north to Columbia Road at the Westlake city line to four lanes. Mr. McKay <br />moved for adoption; second by Mr. Gareau; motion passed unanimously. Resolution <br />No. 99-48 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 99-18 introduced by Mr. Gareau was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance amending Section 161.11 (Accumulated Vacation Leave) of the Administrative <br />Code of the City of North Olmsted, and repealing Section 2 of Ordinance No. 90-161, so <br />as to require that non-bargaining unit employees entitled to vacation leave take a <br />minimum of five workdays off each year or forfeit days of earned vacation leave, and <br />declaring an emergency, as amended. <br />Ordinance No. 99-33 introduced by Mr. Limpert was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance amending Section 521.08 of Chapter 521 of the General Offenses Code, <br />entitled "Health, Safety and Sanitation," so as to prohibit the outdoor storage of motor <br />vehicles in states of major disassembly or disrepair, and declaring an emergency, as <br />amended. <br />Ordinance No. 99-34 introduced by Mayor Musial and Mr. McKay was given its second <br />reading. An ordinance creating Chapter 172 of the Administrative Code, entitled "Tax <br />Incentive Review Council," in order to establish a Tax Incentive Review Council as <br />provided for in Section 5709.85 of the Ohio Revised Code, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 99-37 introduced by Mr. McKay was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance amending Section 741.03 of Chapter 741 of the Business Regulation Code of <br />the City of North Olmsted, entitled "Deliveries to Commercial Establishments," so as to <br />prohibit making or receiving deliveries, or running engines of motor vehicles, near <br />residences between the hours of 9:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. and declaring an emergency as <br />amended. <br /> <br />10 <br />.....~~~~.Y. <br />i <br />
