Council Minutes of 1/19/99 <br />Mrs. Kasler scheduled a Recreation Committee meeting following the Finance <br />~, Committee on January 26 to discuss Ordinance 99-7. The Safety Director is invited to <br />attend. Also, the committee will discuss the section of the Codified dealing with walking <br />dogs in city parks. <br />Mr. Nashar scheduled a Public Safety Committee meeting immediately following the <br />Recreation Committee on January 26 to discuss Ordinance 99-11. The Mayor and the <br />Safety Director are invited to attend. <br />Mr. Limpert scheduled an Intra-Governmental Relations and Legislation; Long-Range <br />Planning Committee meeting immediately following the Public Safety Committee on <br />January 26 to discuss Ordinances 99-4, 99-5, 99-10. Also, the committee will be <br />interviewing appointees to boards and commissions. It was agreed that the interviews <br />would take place at 7:15 p.m. so the appointees can be notified. <br />Mr. Gareau scheduled a BZD Committee meeting for 6:30 p.m. on Monday, February 1, <br />to discuss Planning Commission items and pending legislation regarding antenna towers. <br />Representatives from the Building and Engineering Departments are requested to attend. <br />Mr. Gareau commented on the lighting problem at Manor Care which had been discussed <br />at the previous Council meeting. He did have an opportunity to speak with Building <br />Commissioner Conway and was told that the minor change request was approved thereby <br />implementing a change in the modification of the current light structure on the side of the <br />building. Mr. Conway indicated that, once the approval has been forwarded to the Manor <br />Care developer, there would be 30 days within which to comply. After that, he would <br />confer with the Law Department to seek compliance on that matter <br />Mr. Gareau announced that this would be the last meeting covered by Jacgi Templeton of <br />the Westlife as she will be leaving the paper. Jacgi has done a very good job of covering <br />the City of North Olmsted for the past ten years. She is wished the best of luck! <br />Mr. McKay scheduled a joint Finance and Streets & Drainage Committee meeting for <br />Wednesday, January 27, at 6 p.m. to discuss capital improvements. Mr. Bohlmann is <br />asked to attend. Mrs. Saringer urged all of Council to attend. <br />With the agenda being completed and there being no further business to come before <br />Council, President Saringer adjourned the meeting at 9:05 p.m. <br />,-~ . ,~ 1 <br />Barbara L.
