Council Minutes of 12/19/00 <br />all of Council this evening during caucus. Councilman McKay moved for suspension of <br />the rule requiring three readings. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and <br />passed unanimously. Councilman McKay moved for adoption. The motion was <br />seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2000-172 <br />adopted. <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br />President Saringer scheduled aCommittee-of--the-Whole meeting at 7 p.m. on January 3 <br />to discuss the 2001 capital improvements. <br />Mr. McKay scheduled a Finance/Transportation/Public Safety Committee meeting on <br />Wednesday, January 3, at 6:30 p.m. for the purpose of discussing Ordinance 2000-170. <br />Service Director Bohlmann is asked to attend. (Thanks to Mrs. Kasler for the Christmas <br />presents she left for everyone.) <br />President Saringer referred Ordinance 2000-170 to the Transportation, Finance and <br />Public Safety Committees. Mr. O'Grady suggested that a representative of the school <br />system be invited to the meeting for the discussion of this legislation. Mr. McKay agreed <br />that would be a good idea. <br />Mrs. Kasler asked to have her "yes" votes recorded on the three liquor permit transfers as <br />she was out of the room at the time of the vote. Also, she asked that her votes on the <br />following legislation be recorded as she was out of town for the December 5 meeting: <br />"Yes" on Ordinance 99-113, Resolutions 2000-147, 2000-148, 2000-149, Ordinances <br />2000-151, 2000-154, Resolutions 2000-155 and 2000-160. <br />President Saringer wished everyone in the audience a very happy holiday and a blessed <br />and safe New Year. <br />Mrs. Kasler said she offered best wishes to everyone and was happy to hear Mrs. McKay <br />will be home celebrating the holiday as well. <br />With the agenda being completed and there being no further business to come before <br />Council, President Saringer adjourned the meeting at 9:10 p.m. <br />;,~ ~' <br />Barbara L.
