Council Minutes of 12/19/00 <br />unanimously. Councilman McKay moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Limpert and passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2000-167 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 200-168 introduced by Mayor Musial on behalf of the entire Council and <br />himself was given its second reading. An ordinance approving an agreement with the <br />Board of Trustees of the Cuyahoga County Public Library concerning the acquisition, <br />construction, lease and occupancy of real property and the purchase and use of personal <br />property for the purpose of operating a free public library; and declaring an emergency. <br />Councilman McKay moved to suspend the rule requiring three readings. The motion was <br />seconded by Councilman O'Grady and passed unanimously. Councilman McKay moved <br />for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman O'Grady and passed <br />unanimously. Ordinance No. 2000-168 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2000-169 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance adopting the plan of operation and governance for the electricity aggregation <br />program for the City of North Olmsted and other members of the Northeast Ohio Public <br />Energy Council, and declaring an emergency. Councilman McKay moved to suspend the <br />rule requiring three readings. The motion was seconded by Councilman Nashar and <br />passed unanimously. Councilman McKay moved for adoption. The motion was <br />seconded by Councilman Nashar and passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2000-169 <br />adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2000-170 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. <br />A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the <br />installation of school zone flashers on Lorain Road for Chestnut Elementary School as <br />detailed in the plans and specifications on file and authorizing the Mayor to contract for <br />the same, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2000-171 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. <br />An ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the North Olmsted <br />F.O.P., Ohio Labor Council, which agreement is the Collective Bargaining Agreement <br />between the city and the North Olmsted Police Department, and declaring an emergency. <br />Mayor Musial requested that Council suspend the rule requiring three readings noting <br />that the ordinance and contract were discussed with the Finance Committee on December <br />18 and with all of Council this evening during caucus. Councilman McKay moved for <br />suspension of the rule requiring three readings. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman O'Grady and passed unanimously. Councilman McKay moved for adoption. <br />The motion was seconded by Councilman O'Grady and passed unanimously. Ordinance <br />No. 2000-171 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2000-172 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. <br />An ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the North Olmsted <br />F.O.P., Ohio Labor Council, which agreement is the Collective Bargaining Agreement <br />between the city and the North Olmsted Correction Officers, and declaring an emergency. <br />Mayor Musial requested Council consider suspending the rule requiring three readings <br />noting the ordinance was discussed in the Finance Committee on December 18 and with <br />10 <br />~,~~~~~Y=~., .. , _ n..~•., . <br />I <br />
