Council Minutes of 12/5/00 .,,~ Ordinance No. 2000-117 introduced by Councilman Nashar was given its second reading. ~„ An ordinance creating new Section 331.42 of the Traffic Code, entitled "Use of Mobile Telephones While Operating a Motor Vehicle," in order to regulate the use of mobile (cell) phones while operating motor vehicles on roads and streets within the City of North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency, as twice amended. Resolution No. 2000-160 introduced by Councilman Miller on behalf of the entire Council and the Mayor was given its second reading. A resolution urging Developers Diversified, Inc. to find a theatre operator willing to reopen and renovate the Great Northern Theatre, and declaring an emergency as amended. Councilman O'Grady moved for suspension of the rule requiring three readings and commented that its has been in committee. The motion was seconded by Councilman Miller and passed unanimously.
