Council Minutes of 11/21/2000 <br />Finally, the Planning Commission has recommended that this ordinance be disapproved. <br />He does not believe this ordinance is good for the city and for the residents. The motion <br />passed with six affirmative votes and one negative vote. Ordinance No. 2000-118 <br />adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2000-134 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its third reading. An <br />emergency ordinance enacted by the City of North Olmsted, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, <br />hereinafter referred to as the MUNICIPALITY, in the matter of the hereinafter described <br />improvement and requests the cooperation of the County of Cuyahoga by its Board of <br />County Commissioners, hereinafter referred to as the COUNTY. (Porter Road repair and <br />resurfacing.) Mr. Gareau moved for adoption; second by Mr. Nashar; motion passed <br />unanimously. Ordinance No. 2000-134 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2000-135 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its third reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for yard piping <br />and sludge building modifications at the North Olmsted Wastewater Treatment Plant as <br />detailed in the plans and specifications on file and authorizing the Mayor to contract for <br />the same, and declaring an emergency. Mr. O'Grady moved for adoption; second by Mr. <br />Limpert; motion passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2000-135 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2000-136 introduced by the Mayor and entire Council was given its third <br />reading. A resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with the Cuyahoga <br />County General Health District for the year 2001, and declaring an emergency. Mr. <br />O'Grady moved for adoption; second by Mr. Limpert; motion passed unanimously. <br />Resolution No. 2000-136 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2000-138 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Director of Public Service to enter into negotiations for <br />possible purchase of the leased portable, complete dewatering centrifuge system for the <br />Wastewater Treatment Plant, without public bidding. Mr. Limpert moved for adoption; <br />second by Mr. O'Grady; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2000-138 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2000-141 introduced by Councilman Kasler was given its third reading. <br />A resolution re-authorizing a Citizens' Committee created by Resolution No. 98-96 for <br />the purpose of gathering and presenting to Council projects for the city's Community <br />Development Block Grant (CDBG) applications, and declaring an emergency. Mrs. <br />Kasler moved for adoption; second by Mr. Limpert; motion passed unanimously. <br />Resolution No. 2000-141 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2000-144 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the Senior Workers' <br />Action Program/Senior Community Service Employment Program with the City of North <br />Olmsted acting as host agency, and declaring an emergency. Mrs. Kasler moved for <br />adoption; second by Mr. Miller; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2000-144 <br />adopted. <br />12 <br />
