Council Minutes of 11/21/2000 <br />liquor license for CVS Pharmacy, 27713 Lorain Road. The motion was seconded by <br />Mr. Limpert and unanimously approved. <br />Mr. Limpert, Chairperson of the Recreation, Public Parks and Buildings Committee: 1) <br />The Recreation Commission met on November 20 with a full quorum. The revenues are <br />up for the Recreation Department in the year 2000. The commission began a review of <br />potential capital improvement projects. There are many that are necessary, and the <br />commission will try to pick out the few that are absolutely required. <br />Mr. Gareau, chairperson of the Streets & Drainage Committee: 1) The Streets & <br />Drainage Committee met on Tuesday, November 14. Present were committee members <br />Kasler, McKay and Gareau; Council members Nashar, O'Grady, Miller, Limpert and <br />Council President Saringer; Service Director Bohlmann. The committee reviewed <br />Ordinance 2000-151, "An emergency ordinance enacted by the City of North Olmsted, <br />Cuyahoga County, Ohio, hereinafter referred to as the Municipality in the matter of the <br />hereinafter described improvement and requests the cooperation of the County of <br />Cuyahoga by its Board of County Commissioners, hereinafter referred to as the County." <br />This is the repair and resurfacing of Clague Road from Lorain Road to the North Olmsted <br />north corporation line. This is similar to the arrangement we had with the recent <br />ordinance concerning Porter Road. The project is set for 2002 and is an 80/20 split with <br />the county. According to the Service Director, the estimated share of the city's burden <br />will be $40,800. This will be a grind out and a total resurface. The committee <br />unanimously recommended approval. <br />Mr. Nashar, chairperson of the Building, Zoning and Development Committee: 1) The <br />BZD Committee met on November 14. Present were committee members Gareau, <br />O'Grady and Nashar; President of Council Saringer and Council members McKay, <br />Miller, Limpert and Kasler; Assistant Building Commissioner Rymarczyk, City Engineer <br />Deichmann, and Assistant Law Director Dubelko. The committee discussed Ordinance <br />99-113, introduced by Councilman Miller. This is an ordinance amending Section <br />1119.01 of the North Olmsted Zoning Code entitled "Building Permit Required" in order <br />to prohibit commercial and new residential developers from obtaining a building permit <br />for real property development when real property taxes are due and owing as twice <br />amended. This ordinance was heard by the Planning Commission on September 28 and <br />recommended for approval. A public hearing was held on this legislation. The <br />committee members unanimously recommended approval. <br />Mr. McKay, chairperson of the Finance Committee: 1) The Finance Committee met on <br />Tuesday, November 14. Present were committee members Limpert, O'Grady and <br />McKay; Council members Nashar, Miller and Council President Saringer, Service <br />Director Bohlmann. Agenda items were as follows: <br />• Resolution 2000-147, which is a resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service <br />to advertise for bids for 5,000 tons of stone.
