Councilman McKay <br />said his ward (I~ has the most retaiUcommercial property than any other. Once property <br />is rezoned, it never goes back to residential again. His position has always been to <br />protect the residents and residential property. When the rezoning of Parcel E was turned <br />down by 74% of the voters city-wide, that sent a message to him that people are tired of <br />retail and are tired of the expansion of retail taking over residential district.
