,, NORTH OLMSTED CITY COUNCIL <br />MINUTES OF THE PUBLIC HEAR~IG <br />OCTOBER 30, 2000 <br />Present: Council President Beringer, Council Members Gareau, Kesler, Limpert, <br />Miller, McKay, Nashar, O'Grady <br />Also Present: Law Director Gareau, Clerk of Council Semen <br />Council President Beringer called the public hearing to order at 7:07 p.m. in Council <br />Chambers, 5200 Dover Center Raad, North Olmsted, Ohio. <br />President Beringer announced the public hearing was being held to discuss Ordinance <br />No. 2000-81, an ordinance creating new and revised Sections 1136.04 and 1136.05 of <br />Chapter 1136 of the Zoning Code, emitted respectively, "Permitted Buildings and Uses," <br />and "Area and Density Requiremems," so as tq permmit golf courses, and buildings <br />associated with and/or related to the operation of golf courses, as accessory uses in Single <br />Family Cluster (SFC) Districts of the city. <br />There were no comments from the audience. <br />Councilman Miller asked if anything had been done to protect the homeowners <br />(Viewpoint) from errant golf balls. Councilman McKay noted, according to the Law <br />Director, that issue is not affected by this ordinance. This ordinance does not address that <br />particular golf course only, but it relates to any golf course in the city. However, he <br />noted that something is being done. Councilman Miller said he was glad to hear the issue <br />is being addressed. <br />President Beringer adjourned the public hearing at 7:10 p.m. <br />era. L.
