Council Minutes of 9/5/2000 <br />Mr. O'Grady scheduled a Public Safety Committee meeting for 6 p.m. on September 11 <br />to review in-ground flashing lights at crosswalks. The Mayor and directors of Public <br />Safety and Service are asked to attend. <br />Mr. O'Grady scheduled an Environmental Control Committee meeting immediately <br />following the Public Safety Committee on September 11 to discuss Ordinance 2000-104. <br />The Service Director is asked to attend. <br />Mr. McKay scheduled a Finance Committee meeting immediately following the <br />Environmental Control meeting to discuss all legislation assigned to the committee. <br />Members of the Streets & Drainage and BZD Committees as well as the directors of <br />Finance and Service are asked to attend. <br />Mr. Nashar scheduled a BZD Committee meeting for 6:30 p.m. on September 12 to <br />discuss legislation and Planning Commission items. The City Engineer and Building <br />Commissioner are asked to attend. <br />Mrs. Kasler scheduled a Legislative Committee meeting for September 11 to begin <br />between 7:30 to 7:45 p.m. Human Resources Director Copeland is asked to attend for the <br />discussion of Ordinance 2000-107. Councilman Nashar, Safety Director Jenkins, Chief <br />of Police Ruple and Senior Assistant Director of Law Dubelko are asked to attend for the <br />discussion of Ordinances 2000-116 and 2000-117. <br />Mr. Limpert moved to adjourn into executive session for discussion of Parcel E and the <br />EPA consent decree. The motion was seconded by Mr. O'Grady and unanimously <br />passed. <br />Council adjourned into executive session at 9:25 p.m. and reconvened at 10:10 p.m. <br />The minutes of the Council meeting of June 6, 2000 were approved as written. <br />Mr. O'Grady made a motion to excuse the absence of Mr. Gareau. The motion was <br />seconded by Mr. Limpert and unanimously approved. <br />With the agenda being completed and there being no further business to come before <br />Council, President Saringer adjourned the meeting at 10:12 p.m. <br />~~ <br />Barbara L.
