Council Minutes of 9/5/2000 LEGISLATION {, Resolution No. 2000-103 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. A resolution declaring it necessary to repair sidewalks at the following residential properties located in the City of North Olmsted: Charles Road (Nos. 6507, 6523, 6603, 6635, 6652, 6684, 6700, 6715, 6747) and Georgette Avenue (Nos. 4404, 4626), and declaring an emergency. Ordinance No. 2000-104 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman O'Grady on behalf of Councilman Gareau. An ordinance accepting a sanitary sewer easement located on property owned by Edward A. and Elaine M. Yakamavage and designated as Permanent Parcel No. 232-14-087 Cuyahoga County Maps and Records, said easement shown on Exhibit "C" and declaring an emergency. Resolution No. 2000-105 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the wyeing of sanitary sewer manholes on Blossom Boulevard and storm sewer improvements on MacKenzie Road as detailed in the plans and specifications on file and authorizing he Mayor to contract for the same, and declaring and emergency. Ordinance No. 2000-107 was introduced and place on .first reading by Councilwoman Kasler. An ordinance authorizing and directing Don Copeland, Director of the Department of Human Resources, to make application on behalf of the City of North Olmsted for Community Development Block Grant funds for the fiscal year 2001 for multiple projects titled sidewalk curb cuts for disabled persons and older persons, Americans with Disabilities Act improvements at the North Olmsted Recreation complex, and water main improvements for Summerland Avenue, Virginia Avenue, MacBeth Avenue and Esther Avenue and declaring an emergency. Ordinance No. 2000-108 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. An ordinance authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into an agreement with Polytech, Inc. to provide engineering services for the design of intersection improvements at Clague Road and Lorain Road and declaring an emergency. Resolution No. 2000-109 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. A resolution adopting the budget of the City of North Olmsted for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2001, and submitting the same to the County Auditor, and declaring an emergency. Ordinance No. 2000-110 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman McKay. An ordinance amending Sections 1 and 3 of Ordinance No. 2000-90 to provide for the issuance and sale of bonds that will mature over a period of ten years, and declaring an emergency. Councilman McKay moved for the suspension of the rules requiring three readings and committee review. The motion was seconded by Councilman Nashar and passed unanimously.
