There has <br />been no objection from the North Olmsted Police Departmern, and the committee <br />unanimously recommended approval. Mr. O'Grady moved that Council have no <br />objection to the Red Robin liquor license. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br />Limpert and unanimously approved. <br />Councilman McKay, chairperson of the Finance and Environmental Control Committees: <br />1) The Finance Committee and the Environmental Control Committee met on <br />Wednesday, December 12. Present were members of the Environmental Committee <br />McKay, Nashar and Dailey; Finance Committee members Limpert, O'Grady and McKay; <br />Finance Director Copfer and Prosecutor O'Malley. The following items were discussed: <br />• Resolution 2001-149, which directs the County Auditor to pay the City of North <br />Olmsted all monies due and owing from any collection source from any and all tax <br />collection sources for the year 2002. The committee recommended approval. <br />• Ordinance 2001-150, which makes appropriations for the current expenses and other <br />expenditures for the year ending December 31, 2002. Line item operations include <br />operations for the Mayor's office of $15,000 for a negotiator and $15,000 for a <br />planner. Division of Fire, $6,000 increase in the building and equipment for the <br />heating and cooling. General Administration, $16,500 for signs. Sanitary and Sewer <br />Fund, $24,000. For consultant fees and legal fees, $60,000. Transfer in the Personnel <br />operations of $5,000 and Emergency Dispatch Operations $b,800. The grand total <br />was $35,988,838. The committee recommended approval. <br />• Ordinance 2001-151, an ordinance to make and transfer appropriations for the current <br />expenditures and expenses for the year ending December 31, 2001. Transfers <br />occurred in the following areas: Data Processing administration; Finance staff; <br />Division of Aging outreach program; Emergency Central Dispatch for the staff; Fire <br />Department staffing operations and also building and equipmern; Police Department <br />operations; the Engineering staff and operations; Division of Public Works staff and <br />operations; Fleet Management equipment; General Service and Public Service for <br />buildings and property; General Administration personnel, other governments, <br />insurance; Recreation Fund building, equipment and capital, administration; All <br />Other Funds for bond retirement special assessmern, endowment and grant fund, <br />hoteUmotel tax, Issue II. The committee recommended approval. <br />2) The Environmental Committee discussed Ordinance 2001-148 which authorizes the <br />Mayor to enter into an agreement with Bowker and Associates to provide for professional <br />services as a consultant for the Wastewater Treatment Plant odor control by <br />recommending new operation monitoring equipment.
