Council Minutes of 10/16/2001 LEGISLATION Ordinance No. 2001-103 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its third reading. An ordinance amending the Traffic Control File of the City of North Olmsted to provide for the installation of a traffic signal system at the intersection of Dover Cemer Road and Driscoll Lane/Cottonwood Trail as amended. Councilman Limpert moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman O'Grady and passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2001-103 adopted. Ordinance No. 2001-108 introduces by Councilman Miller was given its third reading. An ordinance amending Section 1123.09 of the Zoning Code in order to establish a clear procedure for notice to be given to condominium property owners affected by requested variances as amended. Councilman Miller moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Nashaz and passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2001-108 adopted. Ordinance No. 2001-109 introduced by Councilman Nashaz was given its third reading. An ordinance amending Section 1163.02, 1163.10 and 1163.15 of Chapter 1163 (Signs) of the Zoning Code so as to clarify the definition of the word "Sign" as used in Chapter 1163, and further to provide for the removal of abandoned signs, and nonconforming signs the use of which has been voluntarily discontinued, in a manner which is consistent with the requirements of Section 713.15 of the Ohio Revised Code. Councilman Nashaz moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman McKay and passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2001-109 adopted. Ordinance No. 2001-111 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its third reading. An ordinance authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into an agreement with Chagrin Valley Engineering Services for the design of building improvements at North Olmsted Park including concession stand, storage room, restrooms and shelter azea and declaring an emergency. Councilman Miller moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2001-11 adopted. Resolution No. 2001-112 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its third reading. A resolution authorizing the Mayor to submit and seek financial assistance from the State Issue 2 Infrastructure Bond Program for funding of various municipal capital infrastructure improvements projects, and declaring an emergency. Councilman McKay moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2001-112 adopted. Ordinance No. 2001-113 introduced by Councilman Miller was given its third reading. An ordinance amending Section 149.02 of the Administrative Code in order to establish a clear procedure for notice to be given to condominium property owners affected by proposed developments. Councilman Miller moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Nashar and passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2001-113 adopted. 11
