Council Minutes of 10/16/2001 Resolution No. 2001-114 introduced by Councilman McKay was given its third reading. A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for and accept bids for laboratory analytical services to support the Wastewater Treatment Plant, as detailed in the specifications on file, and authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, and declaring an emergency. Councilman McKay moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Dailey and passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2001-114 adopted. Ordinance No. 2001-116 introduced by Councilman McKay on behalf of himself and Councilman Nashar was given its third reading. An ordinance amending Section 505.16 of Chapter 505 of the General Offenses Code entitled "Animals & Fowl," in order to better regulate the keeping and maintaining of vicious and dangerous animals within the City of North Olmsted, including dogs which menace people, and declaring an emergency. Councilman McKay moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Nashaz and passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2001-116 adopted. Ordinance No. 2401-117 introduced by Councilman Nashaz on behalf of himself and Councilman McKay was given its third reading. An ordinance amending the Traffic Control File of the City of North Olmsted so as to provide for a uniform speed. limit of thirty-five (35) miles per hour on Great Northern Boulevard from Butternut Ridge Road to Lorain Road. Councilman Nashar moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman McKay and passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2001-117 adopted. Ordinance No. 2001-118 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its third reading. An ordinance amending Section 135.05 of the Administrative Code, presently entitled, "Authority of Assistant Director to Sign Checks," in order to authorize certain employees at Springvale to sign checks for purchases of beer, wine and other liquor for use at Springvale, and declaring an emergency. Councilman McKay moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2001-118 adopted. Resolution No. 2001-119 introduced by Mayor Musial on behalf of himself and the entire Council was given its second reading. A resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with the Cuyahoga County General Health District for the year 2002, and declaring an emergency. Resolution No. 2001-120 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for improvements at the Clague Road and Lorain Road intersection as detailed in the plans and specif cations on file and authorizing the Mayor to conrtract for the same and declaring an emergency.
