Council Minutes of 10/16/2001 <br />Traff--Pro Consultants, Inc. to provide design of an in-roadway warning light system in <br />Clague Road at the Clague Pazk driveway and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2001-122 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into a cornract <br />with Jeff Mazshall to provide services to the city as the Director of Ice Skating at the <br />North Olmsted Recreation Cerner, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2001-123 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into an agreement, <br />modifying the present contract between the city and Carrie Skall Tipton, relating to the <br />services she renders to the city as a gymnastics and exercise instructor at the North <br />Olmsted Recreation Center, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 2001-125 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. <br />A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for furnishing <br />of gabion baskets and accessories for various drainage channel improvements in the City <br />of North Olmsted as per specifications now on file in his office, and authorizing the <br />Mayor to contract for same, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 2001-126 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilwoman <br />Kasler on behalf of herself, the entire Council and the Mayor. A resolution encouraging <br />Congress to pass House Bi112955, which would enact the "Displaced Workers Assistance <br />Act," House Bill 2946, the "Displaced Workers Relief Act of 2001," and Senate Bill <br />1454, the "Displaced Workers Assistance Act of 2001," all of which aze designed to <br />provide financial assistance, and some of which include provisions for training and heath <br />caze coverage, to workers who have lost, or will lose, their jobs as a result of the <br />September 11`s attack on America, and declaring an emergency. Councilwoman Kasler <br />moved for suspension of the rule requiring three readings. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Miller and passed unanimously. An ordinance establishing a special <br />revenue fund for fines collected from handicapped pazking violations for the purpose of <br />funding purchases of equipment for seniors, senior activities, and subsidizing the senior <br />hot lunch program. <br />Ordinance No. 2001-128 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />O'Grady on behalf of the entire Council. An ordinance to revise the Codified Ordinances <br />by adopting current replacement pages; and declaring an emergency. Councilman <br />O'Grady moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings and committee <br />review.
