Council Minutes of 10/16/2001 <br />., Ordinance No. 2001-129 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />Miller on behalf of himself and Councilwoman Kasler. An ordinance amending Sections <br />305.01 and 305.02 of Chapter 305 of the Traffic Code of the City of North Olmsted, <br />entitled "Traffic Control," in order to include crosswalks as traffic control devices subject <br />to the regulatory provisions of Chapter 305, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2001-130 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />Dailey. An ordinance amending the Traffic Control file of the City of North Olmsted by <br />providing for the installation of "Stop" signs for northbound and southbound traffic on <br />W. 231` Street at the intersection of W. 231` Street and Maple Ridge Road. <br />Ordinance No. 2001-131 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />Limpert. An ordinance amending Section 1363.07 of Chapter 1363 of the Real Property <br />Maintenance Code, entitled "Duties and Responsibilities of Owners and Operators," so as <br />to require the removal and replacement of fences on commercial property abutting <br />residential property which have fallen into a state of disrepair such as would require <br />repair of replacement of more than fifty percent (50%) of the fence, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />M~scELLAIVEOUS Bus,+ss <br />President Saringer scheduled aCommittee-of--the-Whole to discuss firefighter staffing for <br />7 p.m. on Wednesday, November 14. The Mayor, Finance Director and representatives <br />of the safety forces are asked to attend. <br />Councilman Miller scheduled a Recreation Committee meeting for October 29 at 7 p.m. <br />to discuss the ordinance involving Mr. Marshall, Ordinance 2001-122. Safety Director <br />Jenkins and the Assistant Law Director are asked to attend. <br />Councilman O'Grady scheduled a Public Safety Committee meeting for Thursday, <br />October 25, at 7 p.m. to discuss Ordinance 2001-130. The Safety Director and, at the <br />discretion of the Safety Director, the Traffic Engineer are asked to attend. <br />Councilman Limpert scheduled a Streets & Drainage/Finance Committee meeting <br />immediately following the Public Safety Committee meeting on Thursday, October 25. <br />Service Director Bohlmann is asked to attend. <br />Councilman McKay scheduled a Finance Committee meeting immediately following the <br />joint Streets & Drainage/Finance Committee. He asked Finance Director Copfer to <br />attend. Mrs. Copfer said she would be attending a seminar in Cincinnati that day on <br />learning GASB-34 but would send her written comments. <br />Councilman Dailey scheduled a Transportation Committee meeting immediately <br />following the Finance Committee for October 25 to discuss Ordinance 2001-129.
