Council Minutes of 9/18/2001 <br />Ordinance No. 2001-116 was irnroduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />McKay on behalf of himself and Councilman Nashaz. An ordinance amending Section <br />505.16 of Chapter 505 of the General Offenses Code entitled "Animals & Fowl," in order <br />to better regulate the keeping and maintaining of vicious and dangerous animals within <br />the City of North Olmsted, including dogs which menace people, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2001-117 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />Nashar on behalf of himself and Councilman McKay. An ordinance amending the <br />Traffic Control File of the City of North Olmsted so as to provide for a uniform speed <br />limit of thirty-five (35) miles per hour on all portions of Great Northern Boulevard <br />located within the City of North Olmsted. <br />Ordinance No. 2001-118 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. <br />An ordinance amending Section 135.05 of the Administrative Code, presently emitted, <br />"Authority of Assistant Director to Sign Checks," in order to authorize certain employees <br />at Springvale to sign checks for purchases of beer, wine and other liquor for use at <br />Springvale, and declaring an emergency. <br />MISCELLANEQUS BUSINESS <br />President Saringer made the following committee assignments: Ordinance 2001-111 to <br />Recreation, Public Parks and Buildings Committee; Resolution 2001-112 to Intra- <br />Governmental Relations and Legislation, Long-Range Planning Committee; Ordinance <br />2001-113 to BZD Committee; Resolution 2001-114 to Environmental Cornrol <br />Committee; Ordinance 2001-115 to Recreation, Public Pazks and Buildings/Finance <br />Committees; Ordinance 2001-117 to Public Safety, Health & Welfare Committee; <br />Ordinance 2001-117 to Transportation Committee; Ordinance 2001-118 to Finance <br />Committee. <br />Councilman McKay scheduled aFinance/Environmental Control Committee meeting for <br />6 p.m. on Thursday, September 20. The Finance Director, Service Director and Safety <br />Director are asked to attend. <br />Councilman O'Grady scheduled a Public Safety, Health & Welfare Committee meeting <br />on Thursday, September 20, immediately following the FinancelEnvironmernal meeting. <br />The Safety Director and Animal Wazden are asked to attend. <br />President Saringer noted that the Cable Advisory Committee meeting was scheduled for <br />6:30 p.m. on Monday, September 24. <br />Councilman Dailey scheduled a Transportation Committee meeting for Thursday, <br />September 20, immediately following the Public Safety meeting.
