Council Minutes of 9/18/2001 Ordinance No. 2001-109 introduced by Councilman Nashar was given its second reading. An ordinance amending Section 1163.02, 1163.10 and 1163.15 of Chapter 11 b3 (Signs) of the Zoning Code so as to clarify the definition of the word "Sign" as used in Chapter 1163, and further to provide for the removal of abandoned signs, and nonconforming signs the use of which has been voluntarily discontinued, in a manner which is consistent with the requirements of Section 713.15 of the Ohio Revised Code. Resolution No. 2001-110 introduced by Councilwoman Kasler was given its second reading. A resolution supporting House Bill 290 and Senate Bill 127, each of which represents an effort by the Ohio Legislature to reduce the cost of prescription drugs for senior citizens, and others in the State of Ohio who either have no health insurance or are underinsured, by establishing astate-funded RX discount program, and declaring an emergency. Councilwoman Kasler moved for suspension of the rule requiring three readings; second by Councilman Miller; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2001-111 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. An ordinance authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into an agreement with Chagrin Valley Engineering Services for the design of building improvements at North Olmsted Park including concession stand, storage room, restrooms and shelter area and declaring an emergency. Resolution No. 2001-112 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. A resolution authorizing the Mayor to submit and seek financial assistance from the State Issue 2 b1fi-astructure Bond Program for funding of various municipal capital infrastructure improvemens projects, and declaring an emergency. Ordinance No. 2001-113 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman Miller. An ordinance amending Section 149.02 of the Administrative Code in order to establish a clear procedure for notice to be given to condominium property owners affected by proposed developments. Resolution No. 2001-114 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman McKay. A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for and accept bids for laboratory analytical services to support the Wastewater Treatment Plant, as detailed in the specifications on file, and authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, and declaring an emergency. Ordinance No. 2001-115 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial.
