Council Minutes of 9/18/2001 <br />Ordinance No. 2001-109 introduced by Councilman Nashar was given its second reading. <br />An ordinance amending Section 1163.02, 1163.10 and 1163.15 of Chapter 11 b3 (Signs) <br />of the Zoning Code so as to clarify the definition of the word "Sign" as used in Chapter <br />1163, and further to provide for the removal of abandoned signs, and nonconforming <br />signs the use of which has been voluntarily discontinued, in a manner which is consistent <br />with the requirements of Section 713.15 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />Resolution No. 2001-110 introduced by Councilwoman Kasler was given its second <br />reading. A resolution supporting House Bill 290 and Senate Bill 127, each of which <br />represents an effort by the Ohio Legislature to reduce the cost of prescription drugs for <br />senior citizens, and others in the State of Ohio who either have no health insurance or are <br />underinsured, by establishing astate-funded RX discount program, and declaring an <br />emergency. Councilwoman Kasler moved for suspension of the rule requiring three <br />readings; second by Councilman Miller; motion passed unanimously. Councilwoman <br />Kasler moved for adoption; second by Councilman Miller; motion passed unanimously. <br />Resolution No. 2001-110 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2001-111 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. <br />An ordinance authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into an <br />agreement with Chagrin Valley Engineering Services for the design of building <br />improvements at North Olmsted Park including concession stand, storage room, <br />restrooms and shelter area and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 2001-112 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. <br />A resolution authorizing the Mayor to submit and seek financial assistance from the State <br />Issue 2 b1fi-astructure Bond Program for funding of various municipal capital <br />infrastructure improvemens projects, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2001-113 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />Miller. An ordinance amending Section 149.02 of the Administrative Code in order to <br />establish a clear procedure for notice to be given to condominium property owners <br />affected by proposed developments. <br />Resolution No. 2001-114 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />McKay.
