Council Minutes of 7/17/01 <br />President Saringer announced that a special Council meeting would be held at 7 p.m. on <br />Tuesday, July 24. <br />Councilman O'Grady scheduled a Public Safety, Health & Welfare Committee meeting <br />immediately following the special Council meeting on Tuesday, July 24. The committee <br />will discuss Ordinance 2001-90 and the Safety Director and Traffic Engineer are asked to <br />attend. <br />Councilman McKay scheduled a Finance Committee meeting immediately following the <br />Public Safety Committee on Tuesday, July 24. The committee will discuss Ordinance <br />2001-97 and the Finance Director and Recreation Commissioner are asked to attend. <br />Councilman Nashaz scheduled a BZD Committee meeting immediately following the <br />Finance Committee on Tuesday, July 24. The committee will discuss Ordinance 2001-70 <br />and Planning Commission items if necessary. The Service Director is asked to attend as <br />well as the Building Commissioner and City Engineer if Planning Commission items are <br />discussed. <br />For the record, Councilman Limpert commerrted that he would like to thank everyone for <br />their support on Resolution 2001-78. He would like the record to reflect that, as far as <br />concerns of verbiage and concerns about methodology, it was precisely why he wanted <br />the resolution in committee which consists of those members that seem to have problems <br />with the verbiage and methodology. <br />Councilwoman Kesler scheduled an additional Intra-Governmental Relations and <br />Legislation; Long-Range Planning Committee meeting for 6:30 p.m. an July 30 to <br />discuss the feasibility study on the present library facility. The Mayor and directors <br />Bohlmann, Copfer and Copeland aze invited to attend. <br />For the record, Councilman Miller said he would like to fill in a gap that was left with <br />regard to the Sweetbriaz ordinance. When that was discussed in committee, he asked that <br />the city proceed with expanding the 20 miler per hour zone on Sweetbrier beyond that <br />which is the property of Pine School fronting on Sweetbrier.
