Council Minutes of 7/17/01 <br />Resolution No. 2001-93 introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. A <br />'~~.~, resohrtion authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the <br />construction of grading and drainage improvements at Springvale Golf Course in the City <br />of North Olmsted as detailed in the specifications on file, and authorizing the Mayor to <br />contract for the same, and declaring an emergency. Mayor Musial noted that this <br />legislation had been discussed in committee during the appropriations process. <br />Councilman McKay moved to suspend the rule requiring three reading. The motion was <br />seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed unanimously. Councilman McKay moved <br />for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Nashar and passed. unanimously. <br />Resohrtion No. 2001-93 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2001-94 introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the <br />construction of a new maimenance building and pump house at Springvale Golf Course <br />in the City of North Olmsted as detailed in the specifications on file and authorizing the <br />Mayor to conract for the same, and declaring an emergency. Mayor Musial noted that <br />the substance of this resohrtion was discussed during the appropriations process. <br />Councilman McKay moved for suspension of the rule requiring three readings. The <br />motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed unanimously. Councilman <br />McKay moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and <br />passel unanimously. Resolution No. 2001-94 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2001-9b introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Safety to advertise for bids for the purchase <br />of a new fire pumper and other related fire apparatus as detailed in the s)~ecifications on <br />file, authorizing the Mayor to contract for the same, and declaring an emergency. Mayor <br />Musial noted that this resolution had been addressed in committee. Councilman O'Grady <br />moved to suspend the rule requiring three readings and noted this issue was discussed <br />during appropriation. The motion was seconded by Councilman Miller and passed <br />unanimously. Councilman O'Grady moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Mi11er and passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2001-96 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2001-97 introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman McKay. <br />An ordinance establishing an increase in the imprest petty cash fund within the <br />Recreation Center Complex of the City of North Olmsted, Ohia, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br />President Saringer made the following committee assignments: Ordinance 2001-?0 to the <br />Building, Zoning and Development Committee; Ordinance 2001-~ to the Public Safety <br />Committee; Ordinance 2001-97 to the Finance Committee. <br />Councilwoman Kesler scheduled an Intra-Governmental Relations and Legislation; <br />Long-Range Planning Committee meeting for 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 24, to discuss <br />Ordinance 2001-05.
