Council Minutes of 7/17/01 <br />Ordinance No. 2001-89 introduced by Councilman O'Grady on behalf of the entire <br />"i,.,~., Council and the Mayor was given its second reading. An ordinance creating new Section <br />557.06 of the General Offenses Code of the City of North Olmsted, entitled "Possession <br />and Use of Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Products by Minors Prohibited," in order to <br />locally prohibit such conduct by minors in accordance with recently enacted Senate Bill <br />218, and declaring an emergency. Councilman O'Grady moved for suspension of the <br />rule requiring three readings. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and <br />passed unanimously. Councilman O'Grady moved for adoption. The motion was <br />seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2001-89 <br />adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2001-70 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. An <br />ordinance accepting a permanent storm sewer easement located on property owned by <br />Paul E. and Teresa A. Grzybowski and designated as Permanent Parcel No. 235-17-045 <br />on the Cuyahoga County Maps and Records, in connection with the Revere Drive culvert <br />extension, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2001-90 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial and <br />Councilman McKay. An ordinance amending the Traffic Control File of the City of <br />North Olmsted by providing for the installation of signs to permit limited parking on the <br />west side of Country Club Boulevard for the first 800 feet south of Lorain Road as stated <br />below, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 2001-91 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the <br />construction of a new clubhouse at Springvale Golf Cowse in the City of North Olmsted <br />as detailed in the specifications on file and authorizing the Mayor to contract for the <br />same, and declaring an emergency. Mayor Musial noted that this legislation had been <br />discussed in committee during the appropriation process. Councilman McKay moved for <br />suspension of the rule requiring three readings. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman O'Grady and passed unanimously. Councilman McKay moved for adoption. <br />The motion was seconded by Councilman Nashar and passed unanimously. Resolution <br />No. 2001-91 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2001-92 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the <br />construction of dam and spillway improvements at Springvale Golf Course in the City of <br />North Olmsted as detailed in the specifications on file and authorizing the Mayor to <br />contract for the same, and declaring an emergency.
