MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />APRIL 23, 2001 <br />Present: Council President Saringer, Council Members Dailey, Kasler, Limpert, <br />McKay, Miller, Nashar, O'Grady <br />Also Present: Mayor Musial, Law Director Gareau, Clerk of Council Seman <br />Council President Saringer called the special meeting to order at 6:40 p.m. in Council <br />Chambers, 5200 Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. <br />President Saringer invited Council to recite the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />REPORT <br />Councilman O'Grady, chairperson of the Public Safety, Health & Welfare Committee: 1) <br />The committee met on April 23, 2001. One of the agenda items was a liquor transfer <br />(D5, D6) from Shin Hwa Corp., 23135 Lorain Road, to Dego Cleveland, Inc., DBA El <br />Rodeo, 23135 Lorain Road. The Police Department has no objections and knows of no <br />difficulties with the organizations or the location. The committee recommended <br />approval. Mr. O'Grady moved that Council approve the liquor permit transfer from Shin <br />Hwa Corp. to Dego Cleveland, Inc., DBA El Rodeo. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Limpert and unanimously approved. <br />LEGISLATION <br />Ordinance No. 2001-51 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into an agreement <br />with Serafin Golf Course Design, Inc., to provide design services for golf course features, <br />grading, drainage, irrigation system and maintenance building improvements at <br />Springvale Golf Course and declaring an emergency. Mr. Miller moved for adoption; <br />second by Mr. Limpert; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2001-51 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2001-53 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into atwo-year <br />agreement with Moordough, Inc., DBA Angelina's Pizza, for the purpose of providing <br />concessions at three city parks, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Miller moved for <br />adoption; second by Mr. McKay; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2001-53 <br />adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2001-56 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into an agreement <br />with Burgess & Niple, Limited, to provide design services for dam improvements at <br />Springvale Golf Course and declaring an emergency.
