Council Minutes of 4/17/2001 <br />.~.~ <br />Ordinance No. 2001-57 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into an agreement <br />with Spice Constantino Architects, Inc. to provide design services for the new North <br />'+~` Olmsted public library and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2001-58 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial An <br />ordinance authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into an agreement <br />with Zwick Associates, Inc. to provide design services for the Root Road cul-de-sac and <br />declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2001-59 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial An <br />ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of notes in a maximum aggregate principal <br />amount of $350,000 in anticipation of the issuance of bonds, to pay costs of acquiring a <br />fire pumper and other relaxed fire apparatus and equipment. <br />Ordinance No. 2001-60 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. An <br />ordinance declaring the necessity and intention of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, to <br />appropriate certain parcels of real property in the city for the purpose of building a new <br />public library, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 2001-61 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial on <br />behalf of himself and the entire Council. A resolution urging the passage of the ballot <br />issue for the North Olmsted Schools, and declaring an emergency. <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br />Councilman McKay scheduled a Finance Committee meeting on Monday, April 30, at <br />6:30 p.m. to discuss Resohrtion 2001-50 and Ordinance 2001-59. The Finance Director <br />and the Service Director are asked to attend. <br />President Saringer scheduled aCommittee-of-the-Whole meeting for 5:30 p.m. on <br />Monday, April 23, to discuss several pieces of legislation which will be passed under <br />suspension of the rule at the special Council meeting that evening. <br />Councilman O'Grady scheduled a Public Safety Committee meeting at 6 p.m. on <br />Monday, April 23, to discuss Ordinance 2001-55 and a liquor permit transfer. The Safety <br />Director is asked to attend. <br />Councilman Dailey scheduled a Streets & Drainage Committee meeting for Monday, <br />April 30, immediately following the Finance Committee meeting to discuss Ordinance <br />2001-58. Service Director Bohlmann is asked to attend. <br /> <br />~~ <br />
