Council Minutes of 3/20/2001 <br />next meeting. Roll call continued: Dailey, yes. The motion passed unanimously. <br />Ordinance No. 2001-40 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2001-43 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract for the purchase of property <br />located at 27418 Butternut Ridge Road, North Olmsted, Ohio for the purpose of carrying <br />out the intent of the voters of the City of North Olmsted relative to the construction of a <br />new library and declaring an emergency. Councilman O'Grady moved for suspension of <br />the rules requiring three readings and committee review; second by Councilman Miller; <br />motion passed unanimously. Councilman O'Grady moved for adoption; second by <br />Councilman Miller; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2001-43 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2001-44 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract for the purchase of property <br />located at 27450 Butternut Ridge Road, North Olmsted, Ohio for the purpose of carrying <br />out the intent of the voters of the City of North Olmsted relative to the construction of a <br />new library and declaring an emergency. Councilman Limpert moved for suspension of <br />the rules three readings and committee review; second by Councilman Nashar; motion <br />passed unanimously. Councilman Limpert moved for adoption; second by Councilman <br />Nashar; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2001-44 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2001-45 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into a new <br />contract of employment with Jerry Ludvik, the golf pro at the Springvale Golf Course for <br />the period April 1, 2001, through December 31, 2001, and declaring an emergency. <br />(Ordinance referred to the Finance Committee.) <br />Ordinance No. 2001-47 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />Nashar. An ordinance providing for the amendment of the Zone Map of the City of <br />North Olmsted by zoning the hereinafter described parcel of real property located on the <br />south side of Cook Road and east of Bronson Road, formerly within Olmsted Township, <br />to Single Family Cluster District. (Ordmance referred to the Planning Commission.) <br />Resolution No. 2001-48 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial on <br />behalf of himself and the entire Council. A resolution declaring April 24, 2001 to <br />celebrate Arbor Day and the award of 2001 Tree City USA. (Resohrtion referred to the <br />Environmental Control Committee) <br />Ordinance No. 2001-49 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract for the purchase of property <br />located at 27375 Lorain Road, North Olmsted, Ohio for the purpose of carrying out the <br />intent of the voters of the City of North Olmsted relative to the construction of a new <br />library and declaring an emergency. Councilman O'Grady moved for suspension of the <br />rules requiring three readings and committee review; second by Councilman Nashar; <br />motion passed unanimously.
