Council Minutes of 2/6/01 ~ Ordinance No. 2001-06 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. An ~ ~• ordinance authorizing the Director of Public Service to enter into a sole source purchase agreement for the purchase of a complete dewatering centrifuge system for the Wastewater Treatment Plant and to extend by two months the lease of the trailer presently housing the complete dewatering centrifuge system to be directly purchased, without public bidding, and declaring and emergency. Ordinance No. 2001-02 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman McKay. An ordinance amending Ordinance No. 2000-111 which establishes rates of compensation for various administrative and legislative personnel, and declaring an emergency. Resolution No. 2001-07 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman Limpert on behalf of the Mayor. A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Safety to advertise for bids for printing of the Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter North Olmsted Parks and Recreation Department Brochure, as per specifications now on file in his office, and authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Limpert moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings and review by committee. The motion was seconded by Councilman McKay and passed unanimously. An ordinance authorizing the Director of Public Service to make emergency purchases of road salt to supplement the existing contract for the purchase of road salt for use on city streets, without public bidding, and declaring and emergency. Ordinance No. 2001-09 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial An ordinance creating new Chapter 930 of the Streets Utilities and Public Services Code of the City of North Olmsted, entitled "Use of Public Rights of Way by Utility, Cable Television and Telecommunications Systems Operators" and declaring an emergency. Resolution No. 2001-10 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman McKay. A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for pavement markings of streets at various locations in the City of North Olmsted as detailed in the specifications on file and authorizing the Mayor to contract for the same, and declaring an emergency. Resolution No. 2001-11 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman O'Grady on behalf of himself and the Mayor. A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the installation of an in-ground caution light system at the crosswalk on Butternut Ridge Road nearest to the driveway for Butternut School, and authorizing the Mayor to contract for the same, and declaring an emergency. 6
