Council Minutes of 12/3/20Q2 <br />Ordinance No. 2002-197 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />4,~ McKay. An ordinance authorizing the transfer of one (1) additional storm sewer <br />employee from the Service Department to the Waste Water Treatment section of the <br />Public Works Division, and further authorizing the payment of wages from the Sewer <br />Revenue Fund, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2002-198 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. <br />An ordinance abolishing the position of Assistant Fire Chief in the organizational chart of <br />the Fire Department of the City of North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 2002-199 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilwoman <br />Kesler. A resolution urging the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to establish a <br />mayor's court in the City of North Olmsted. <br />Ordinance No. 2002-200 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. <br />An ordinance creating a new and revised city salary range ordinance in order to clarify <br />that certain non-bargaining unit employees listed in the city salary range ordinance may, <br />subject to the applicable provisions of the federal Fair Labor Standards Act, receive <br />compensatory time off in lieu of overtime compensation, and otherwise re-establishing <br />the rates of compensation for the city's various administrative and legislative personnel, <br />and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 2002-201 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />McKay. A resolution directing the Auditor of Cuyahoga County to pay to the City of <br />North Olmsted, Ohio, during the year 2003, all money due and owing said city from any <br />collection source. <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br />Councilman McKay scheduled a joint Finance and Public Safety Committee meeting for <br />6:30 p.m. on Monday, December 9, to discuss Ordinance 2002-198. The Mayor and <br />Safety Director are asked to attend. A Finance Committee meeting is also scheduled for <br />Tuesday, December 10, following the Streets & Drainage Committee meeting to discuss <br />Ordinances 2002-184, 2002-185, 2002-189, 2002-190, 2002-191, 2002-192, 2002-197, <br />2002-200, Resalution 2002-201 and the General Fund portion of the appropriations. The <br />Finance Director, Mayor and Service Director are asked to attend. <br />Councilman Limpert scheduled an Environmental Control Committee meeting for 7 p.m. <br />on Tuesday, December 10, to discuss Resolutions 2002-1$7 and 2002-18$. A Streets & <br />Drainage Committee meeting will immediately follow the Environmental Control <br />Committee on Tuesday, December 10, to discuss Resolutions 2002-194, 2002-195 and <br />2002-196. The Service Director, or her designee, is asked to attend. <br />Councilwoman Kesler scheduled a Public Safety Committee meeting immediately <br />following the joint Finance and Public Safety Committee on Monday, December 9, to <br />discuss Ordinance 2002-193.
