Public Hearing Minutes
Ordinance No. 2002-81
Page 2
President O'Grady noted that this was a question separate from this public hearing. He
suggested that the advice offered by Mr. Nashaz and Mr. Limpert was sound. It might be
best for Mr. Beyer and the other residents to wait and determine what exactly they might
best use that property for and then try to initiate some change.
Councilman Miller suggested that Mr. Beyer bring this issue to the Planning Commission
for discussion as they had also suggested that the area be rezoned. This issue would be
just what a city planner would be involved in. The city recently passed legislation for
such a position; but, because of the financial condition, the position has not yet been
funded
~ Mr. Gazeau noted that the Planning Commission, when recommending to Council that
Mr. Schmidt's property be rezoned, also suggested that the pazcels on the north side of
Lorain Road, up to the CEI lines, be rezoned to the newly constituted Motorist Service
District.
With there being no further comments, President O'Grady adjourned the public heazing at
7 (2~p.m. ~ ~'
11//
r ~ "J ;~
~ lj,C ~-~( ~ ~ ~.-,,mac-._-
~ azbaza L.
