Council Minutes of 8/20/2002 <br />legitimate concerns.) The motion failed to pass with two yes votes and five no votes. <br />Ordinance No. 2002-100 was not adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2002-102 introduced by Councilman Gareau was given its third reading. <br />An ordinance creating new Section 533.15 of the General Offenses Code to define the <br />offense of invasion of privacy and to provide criminal sanctions for such offense. <br />Councilman Gareau moved for adoption, and the motion was seconded by Councilman <br />Miller. The motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2002-102 was adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2002-103 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance repealing Ordinance Nos. 94-148 and 2000-37, establishing a new fee and <br />charges schedule for the rendering of emergency medical services and ambulance <br />transportation by the City of North Olmsted, creating a new special revenue fund entitled <br />"Emergency Medical Services" fund, and declaring an emergency as amended. <br />Councilman McKay moved for adoption, and the motion was seconded by Councilman <br />Limpert. Council Members Dailey, Gareau, Limpert, McKay and Nashar voted yes and <br />Council Members Kasler and Miller voted no. The motion passed with five yes votes and <br />two no votes. Ordinance No. 2002-103 was adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2002-106 introduced by Councilman Miller was given its third reading. <br />An ordinance providing for the submission to the electors of the City of North Olmsted of <br />an amendment to Article VII, Section 6 of the Charter of the City of North Olmsted in <br />order to establish the requirement that certain members of the City Landmarks <br />Commission meet specific professional qualifications and to otherwise satisfy criteria for <br />certification by the Ohio Historical Society, and declaring an emergency as amended. <br />Councilman Miller moved for adoption, and the motion was seconded by Councilman <br />Gareau. The motion passed with six yes votes and one no vote cast by Councilman <br />Dailey. Ordinance No. 2002-106 was adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2002-108 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance establishing the compensation and benefits to be paid to all part-time hourly <br />employees employed by the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2002-110 introduced by Councilman Gareau was given its second reading. <br />An ordinance establishing the "Director of Planning" position salary range as a full-time <br />position, and otherwise re-establishing the rates of compensation for various <br />administrative and legislative personnel and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 2002-111 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to solicit bids for the purchase of <br />cell phones and cell phone service per specifications on file in his office, and authorizing <br />the Mayor to enter into a contract for said purchase subject to approval by the Board of <br />Control, if necessary, and declaring an emergency. <br /> <br />17 <br />.w-. _~..... ~. ~ , . . <br />
