Council Minutes of 8/6/2002 <br />~„a, Ordinance No. 2002-115 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. <br />~~ An ordinance authorizing the Director of Public Service to sell, by auction, a 1998 Ford <br />Crown Victoria, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 2002-116 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. <br />A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to solicit bids for the purchase of <br />eight thousand (8,000) tons of rock salt for ice and snow removal per specifications on <br />file in his office, and authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract for said purchase <br />subject to approval by the Board of Control, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2002-117 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. <br />An ordinance to make and transfer appropriations for current expenses and other <br />expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2002. <br />Ordinance No. 2002-118 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />Nashar on behalf of himself and Councilman McKay. An ordinance amending Sections <br />1149.02, 1149.03, 1149.041 and 1149,07 of Chapter 1149 of the Zoning Code (Mixed <br />Use District) in order to provide more flexibility for land development in Mixed Use <br />District "D," and further to protect adjacent residential districts from the adverse impacts <br />of development in this Mixed Use District classification. <br />Ordinance No. 2002-119 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />McKay on behalf of himself and Councilman Nashar. An ordinance providing for the <br />amendment of the Zone Map of the City of North Olmsted by changing the hereinafter <br />described approximately 24-acre vacant parcel of land along the north side of Brookpark <br />Road, between Great Northern Boulevard and Columbia Road, and commonly known as <br />"Parcel E," from Office Use District to Mixed Use "D" District. <br />Resolution No. 2002-120 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. <br />A resolution authorizing and directing the Director of the Department of Human <br />Resources for and on behalf of the City of North Olmsted to apply to the Western <br />Reserve Area Agency on Aging for funds from said agency for the city's programs under <br />the Title III of the Older Americans Act of 1967 (42 USC 35) which provide funding for <br />transportation, nutrition and support programs, and partial funding for supplemental <br />programs thereunder, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 2002-121 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. <br />A resolution authorizing the payment of sixteen thousand dollars ($16,000) to the <br />Fraternal Order of Police, Ohio Labor Council, Inc. for distribution to specific officers of <br />the NOPD and in consideration of the settlement of grievances under the collective <br />bargaining agreement and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 2002-122 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. <br />A resolution authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, to file a permit <br />application with the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) for authorization to <br />install a curb cut, located at State Route 252, just south of the Interstate-480 east bound, <br />23 <br />n~,- ~~....,,,... <br />
