Council Minutes of 6/18/2002 <br />Ordinance No. 2002-105 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. <br />An ordinance establishing the "Environmental Specialist" position salary range as either <br />:. a full time or a part time position, and otherwise re-establishing the rates of compensation <br />~«, for various administrative and legislative personnel and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2002-106 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />` ~'`~'~ An ordinance providing for the submission to the electors of the City of North <br />Olmsted of an amendmem to Article VII, Section 6 of the Charter of the City of North <br />Olmsted in order to establish the requirement that certain members of the City <br />Landmarks Commission meet specific professional qualifications and to otherwise satisfy <br />criteria for certification by the Ohio Historical Society, and declaring an emergency. <br />MISCELLANEOUS B,jTSINESS <br />Councilman McKay scheduled a Finance Committee meeting for Wednesday, June 19, at <br />6 p.m. to discuss Ordinance 2002-94, 2002-103, 2002-105. The Finance Director and <br />Service Director are asked to attend. <br />Councilwoman Kasler scheduled a Public Safety, Health & Welfare Committee meeting <br />for Monday, June 24, at 6:30 p.m. to discuss Ordinance 2002-102. The Safety Director is <br />asked to attend, and the Police Department is asked to provide input. <br />Councilman Miller scheduled an Intra-Governmental Relations and Legislation; Long- <br />Range Planning Committee meeting for Monday, June 24, immediately following the <br />Public Safety Committee meeting. Discussed will be Ordinances 2002-99, 2002-100, <br />2002-104, 2002-106 and, if input is received from the Landmarks Commission, the <br />library will be discussed. Sponsors of the legislation and related directors are asked to <br />attend. Councilman Gareau requested that the former Safety Director and Service <br />Director be invited to attend. <br />With the agenda being completed and there being no further business to come before <br />Council, President O'Grady adjourned the meeting at 10:15 p.m. <br />Barbara L.
