Council Minutes of 3l5l02 ~~~ `~~~ Councilman Nashar scheduled a BZD Committee meeting for 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 13 to discuss Ordinances 2002-31 and 2002.32 and several Planning Commission items. The Building Commissioner and City Engineer are asked to attend. Councilman McKay scheduled a Finance Committee meeting immediately following the BZD Committee meeting on March 13, The committee will discuss Resahrtion No. 2002-39 and Ordinance Nos. 2002-34 and 2001-127. Service Director Thomas, Human Resources Director Copeland and Finance Director Copfer are asked to attend. Councilman McKay noted that he would be setting up the meetings to discuss appropriations and the Clerk would distribute the schedule as soon as it was completed. Councilman Gareau asked that resident Joseph Bowman be notified of those meetings. Councilman Miller scheduled an Infra-Governmental Relations aad Legislation; Long- Range Planning Committee meeting immediately following the Finance Committee meeting on March 13. The committee will discuss Ordinance 200230, and the Safety Director is asked to attend and also input is requested from the Police Department. For the discussion of Ordinance Nos. 2002-12 and 2002.20, the Mayor and the Law Director are asked to attend. Councilman McKay inquired as to whether Council preferred to discuss the capital improvements at the Finance Committee meeting or at the end of appropriations. Council chose to discuss it at the end of the appropriations meetings. Presidem O'Grady noted that the committee meetings will be taped, arul the tapes will become public records. Possibly, the form used by Fairview Park will be used for reporting.
