Council Minutes of 11/5/2003 LEGISLATION Ordinance No. 2003-139 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its third reading. An ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with Joe Rice & Associates relating to providing physical security at the Recreation complex, and declaring an emergency as amended. Councilman Gareau moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert. Roll call: Gareau, yes; Limpert, yes; Kasler, yes; McKay, yes; Miller, yes, with the understanding that in future situations like this, companies at least in the Cleveland area if not in the State of Ohio should be considered. Roll call continued: Dailey, yes; Nashar, yes. The motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2003-139 adopted. Resolution No. 2003-140 introduced by Councilman McKay was given its third reading. A resolution directing the Auditor of Cuyahoga County to pay to the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, during the year 2004, all money due and owing said city from any collection source. Councilman McKay moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Nashar and passed unanimously. Roll call: McKay, yes; Nashar, yes; Miller, yes; Kasler, yes; Gareau, yes; Dailey, yes; Limpert, yes, commenting he thinks this is a favorite annual piece of legislation as it will help take care of the residents. The motion passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2003-140 adopted. Ordinance No. 2003-123 introduced by Council Members Nashar, Gareau and McKay was given its second reading. An ordinance providing for the amendment of the Zone Map of the City of North Olmsted in order to supplementally zone Permanent Parcel Numbers 235-16-008 and 235-16-009, so as to include them within the Wireless Telecommunication Facilities Overlay District ("WTFO") of the City of North Olmsted. Ordinance No. 2003-134 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. An ordinance authorizing a transfer of funds from the Bus Fund to the General Fund in the amount of twenty-six thousand nine hundred forty-nine dollars ($26,949) for materials and parts reimbursements received from the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (GCRTA) as a result of the 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2002 annual audits of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line, and declaring an emergency. Resolution No. 2003-146 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to solicit bids for laboratory analytical services for the Wastewater Treatment Flant; further authorizing the Mayor, upon approval of the Board of Control, to enter into a contract with the lowest and best bidder; and declaring an emergency. Resolution No. 2003-147 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading.
