Council Minutes of 11/5/2003 <br />LEGISLATION <br />Ordinance No. 2003-139 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with Joe Rice & Associates <br />relating to providing physical security at the Recreation complex, and declaring an <br />emergency as amended. Councilman Gareau moved for adoption. The motion was <br />seconded by Councilman Limpert. Roll call: Gareau, yes; Limpert, yes; Kasler, yes; <br />McKay, yes; Miller, yes, with the understanding that in future situations like this, <br />companies at least in the Cleveland area if not in the State of Ohio should be considered. <br />Roll call continued: Dailey, yes; Nashar, yes. The motion passed unanimously. <br />Ordinance No. 2003-139 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2003-140 introduced by Councilman McKay was given its third reading. <br />A resolution directing the Auditor of Cuyahoga County to pay to the City of North <br />Olmsted, Ohio, during the year 2004, all money due and owing said city from any <br />collection source. Councilman McKay moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Nashar and passed unanimously. Roll call: McKay, yes; Nashar, yes; <br />Miller, yes; Kasler, yes; Gareau, yes; Dailey, yes; Limpert, yes, commenting he thinks <br />this is a favorite annual piece of legislation as it will help take care of the residents. The <br />motion passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2003-140 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2003-123 introduced by Council Members Nashar, Gareau and McKay <br />was given its second reading. An ordinance providing for the amendment of the Zone <br />Map of the City of North Olmsted in order to supplementally zone Permanent Parcel <br />Numbers 235-16-008 and 235-16-009, so as to include them within the Wireless <br />Telecommunication Facilities Overlay District ("WTFO") of the City of North Olmsted. <br />Ordinance No. 2003-134 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing a transfer of funds from the Bus Fund to the General Fund in the <br />amount of twenty-six thousand nine hundred forty-nine dollars ($26,949) for materials <br />and parts reimbursements received from the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit <br />Authority (GCRTA) as a result of the 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2002 annual audits of the <br />North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 2003-146 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to solicit bids for laboratory <br />analytical services for the Wastewater Treatment Flant; further authorizing the Mayor, <br />upon approval of the Board of Control, to enter into a contract with the lowest and best <br />bidder; and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 2003-147 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with the Cuyahoga County <br />General Health District for the year 2004. <br />13 <br />~ ~ <br />
