Council Minutes of 9/16/2003 <br />.~. Hall and at the Senior Citizens Muhi-service Center to Comply with Americans with <br />Disabilities Act (ADA); 3. Funding for Comprehensive Planning Consultation Services <br />to Assist with 2004 Revision of the North Olmsted Master Plan, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Resolution No. 2003-130 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />Miller. A resolution confirming and reciting the legislative history of the North Olmsted <br />City Council's adoption of the city Master Plan, as published in 1992 and approved in <br />1993, and as further reviewed in 1996 and 2000, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2003-131 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />Miller. An ordinance authorizing and directing Don Copeland, Director of the <br />Department of Human Resources, to make application on behalf of the City of North <br />Olmsted for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds for the fiscal year <br />2004 for development of an exterior property maintenance program, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2003-132 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />Gareau. An ordinance amending Chapter 1331 of the Building Code entitled "Dangerous <br />or Unsafe Buildings," specifically amending Section 1331.13 "Authority of Building <br />Commissioner to Examine Premises." <br />Ordinance No. 2003-133 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. <br />An ordinance authorizing the Mayor, upon the review and approval of the Board of <br />Control, to enter into a sole source and direct purchase agreement with Walker Process <br />Equipment for the acquisition of a primary settling tank/collector drive assembly system <br />for the Wastewater Treatment Plant, without public bidding, and declaring an emergency. <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br />Councilwoman Kasler scheduled a Public Safety, Health & Welfare Committee meeting <br />for 6:50 p.m. on Tuesday, September 23, to discuss a liquor permit. <br />Councilman Limpert scheduled an Environmental Control Committee meeting for 7 p.m. <br />on Tuesday, September 23, to discuss Ordinance 2003-133. The Service Director and <br />representatives from the Waste Water Treatment Plant are asked to attend. <br />Councilman Miller scheduled an Intra-Governmental Relations and Legislation; Long- <br />Range Planning Committee meeting immediately following the Environmental Control <br />Committee on September 23 to discuss Ordinance 2003-129, Resolution 2003-130, <br />Ordinance 2003-131, and the Rules of Council. Human Resources Director Copeland is <br />asked to attend. <br />Councilman Miller scheduled a meeting of the Committee-of--the-Whole for 7 p.m. on <br />Tuesday, October 7, to interview the proposed Planning Director. <br />18 <br />,_ <br />
